SMALL WEDDINGS AT Upper House Estate

Small Weddings at Upper House are incomparable to any other small wedding experience on offer. They are available all year round, on Saturdays and during high season. The whole estate will be for your exclusive use – just your nearest and dearest in this special place for for a weekend like no other.

THE BIJOUX WEDDING PACKAGE

Our Bijoux event will cosset you from the moment you arrive. Resident guests will gather to join you for a hearty arrival brunch to set you up for the day. They can then settle and prepare for the day ahead and until they meet you again in the ceremony room, ready to witness your vows. Canapes will be served during your afternoon reception alongside your personal selection of bubbles and drinks. You will be called to dine in your preferred wedding breakfast Hall, the cavernous Tipi or the atmospheric Medieval Banqueting Hall. Speeches, love and laughter will accompany your indulgent five-course wedding breakfast, along with your selection of our delectable wines.

Later in the evening, you and your guests will be served substantial evening food during the party, along with your cake if you wish.

The following day, wake to restorative breakfast butties before taking your leisurely leave before lunch. You can add on late check-outs, extra stays or any activities from our extensive Bespoke Additions to enhance your package as you wish.

Prices start from £11,000.00 for a minimum of 20 resident guests.

Marriage Ceremonies in England

Legal Ceremonies

Upper House is a venue licensed to hold legal marriages, same sex marriages and civil partnerships. You will need to book the venue in advance of applying for a legal marriage ceremony. Local Government Registrars will perform the ceremony at Upper House. You can email them (highpeak.registrars@derbyshire.gov.uk) to request their availability for the date you prefer. Once the date is booked, you will need to ensure that any visas and documents you will require for a legal marriage in the UK are in place.

Personal Ceremonies

Upper House can also source a suitable personal celebrant for a non-legal marriage ceremony. Translators and translation services can also be sourced, and payment for any such services can be met with the provider.
